Method 1: Installing our official JivoChat module for OpenCart

Our official JivoChat module for OpenCart supports all websites using OpenCart 3.0 or superior.

In order to install our module for OpenCart, simply click this link here, download and activate our module on your website.

After installing the module, simply insert your JivoChat credentials in the module settings to activate the chat on your website.

Method 2: Installation in the Google Analytics Code Box

The JivoChat code has the same criteria for placement as the code of Google Analytics, so can be placed in the same code box. This will not cause conflicts or disruption of your site in any way.

To install JivoChat on your website, go to your OpenCart admin panel then navigate to Settings: System -> Settings.

Next, find your default template and click Edit.

Then, navigate to Server -> Google Analytics Code and paste the JivoChat code into the box. And you’re done!

The JivoChat code is available in the JivoChat app, in the Installation section: Manage -> Channels -> Settings -> Installation.

Method 3: Installation with an ftp-client.

You can also connect JivoChat to your site through its source files, using an ftp-client.

Navigate to: Your site/catalog/view/theme/Your template/template/common/footer.tpl.

Open the footer.tpl file and paste the JivoChat code before the </body> tag.

Make sure to save the settings, and you’re done!
